July Events



Festival season is upon in full blast….. there are live music events all over town, and many of them won’t cost you a penny!

July 11 – Concert on the Square – Skavic Dances – Just a few more weeks of these left, get your blankets out and on the lawn!

July 12 – 15 – La Fête De Marquette head on over to McPike Park – 202 S Ingersoll St. –  no charge to attend and see all this great music!  J’aime ce festival!

July 12 – Monona Terrace Roof Top Concert – 7:00-9:00 Totally Neon (80’s covers)

July 14 – 15 – Art Fair on the Square – (Remember that the usually scheduled farmer’s market moves off the square to Breese Stevens Field this week!)  Lots of people, and lots of great art.  Always bring an umbrella as it will keep off rain or heat. (It seems like we normally have both for this event!)

July 18 – Concerts on the Square – Don’t Stop Believin’ –   Journey released this song in 1981, and we are still singing it!  Put on your best 80’s outfit and sing along!

July 19 – Monona Terrace Roof Top Concert 7:00-9:00  Madison County

July 20 -21 Maxwell St Days – Best deals in town will be found on State Street this weekend!  One of a kind, things you don’t need, things you did not know you needed…. It can all be found here! $$$

July 20 –  Live on King Street – Nikki Lane 7:00

July 22 – Adult Field Day– Join us at Breese Stevens Field between 12pm and 6pm for this throwback event to the field days of our youth.  Your $25 entry fee, available for advance purchase or at the door,  will include two drink tickets and access to all of the field day games.  All proceeds from this event benefit Gio’s Garden, a local respite care facility for children who have special needs
